Dear Holy Cross family,

As we head into this year’s stewardship season, our Holy Cross is in a particularly strong chapter of its history. Attendance and membership have steadily increased over the past four years. We have a wonderful staff of four full-time employees, including two full-time priests, and two part-time employees. Opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and learning abound. We celebrated the tenth year of the Ard family being with us by completing the most significant renovation of our rectory since it was built over a century ago.

Our grounds provide a setting for our parish family and the community at large to marvel in the beauty of God’s creation. We have more children than ever and a large range of programs for them. We have expanded our outreach programs - both those in need in our own community as well those who live far away. We are truly blessed in so many ways.

In response to all of these blessings and for the very fact that we are created in God’s image and adored by God, we give praise to God. Each Sunday as we present our gifts to God in our worship services we sing or say:

Praise God from whom all blessings flow;

Praise him all creatures here below;

Praise him above, ye heavenly host:

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

The stewardship campaign gives each of us the annual opportunity to reflect on how Holy Cross enhances the quality and richness of our lives and that of the broader community.
