The teenage years are a time of looking forward, but also a time of living in the moment. It is a time of excitement, but also a time filled with challenges. It is a time of learning: Learning about yourself, about your relationships with others and your relationship with God.
The Youth Program at Holy Cross seeks to help our young people in growing spiritually through these teenage years in a caring environment and one that enables them to share God’s Love with others.
We seek to do this in two ways. First, through Youth Education formation, which will focus on the relationship with God, and how that helps to develop relationships with others. And second, through social events which helps to make a connection with God and others, out in the world.
Some of our events include diocesan youth events, Holy Cross Youth Day, visiting other parishes and churches of other denominations, holiday gatherings, participating in the Eucharist service at Benson Hall-Nursing Facility, picnics, bowling trips, hikes and Youth Lock-ins. You are always welcome to come and join us. We want to learn, to grow and to have fun!
