CROP Walk is an annual community event to raise awareness and funds to alleviate hunger, around the world and close to home.
Volunteers seek donations during the weeks leading up to the event. Then on the final day, the community gathers to walk together, in celebration of the good things that come from communities that care.
Our late Deacon and member Delores Zeese was instrumental in bringing Crop Walk to Tryon. Every year many of our members attend, and walk, to not only support Crop Walk but to honor Dolores and all the work she did for the community and for Holy Cross.
