Vestry Advisor Katy Murphy

After completing the Policy and Procedure manual the administration group seeks to assist the staff in providing an efficient and effective structure for delivering services to members. The senior and junior wardens participate in weekly staff meetings to facilitate communication between the congregation and staff, thus ensuring everyone is on the same page. Additionally there is a monthly Executive Committee meeting which consists of the rector, the wardens and the treasurer.

Communications
Our monthly newsletter, The Messenger is one of our many tools for communication. The other critical pieces of our communication include the Sunday Bulletin, the weekly e-blast, phone and email, an occasional phone tree message as well as our web-site.

Executive Committee
The executive committee consists of the rector, senior warden, junior warden, and treasurer. The committee meets each month to review any church related items needing special attention or discussion

Messenger
The Messenger, our monthly newsletter, is the most effective communication tool at Holy Cross, providing news about past and future events to every member of the parish. The goal in producing the newsletter is to effectively communicate to the parish community information about all of the activities, programs and opportunities for service and worship within the parish and to provide a forum for teaching and learning.FullSizeRender copy

Each month Greg Wright compiles the information and completes the layout. Joan Lonnes proofreads the issue and then Wanda May and the office volunteers complete the tasks of printing and mailing.

Publicity
To reach all those in the greater community and publicize events that will attract people to Holy Cross, we have an active Facebook Page, occasional ads in the local newspapers, Life in Our Foothills magazine, as well as separate publicity for our many special events.
